Touchpoints are the interaction points you create for users.
They contain: Prompt builder & active pages
Each touchpoint can have
- Up to 10 Variants
- Their own active/excluded pages rules
Templates allow your users to select from predesigned touchpoints, helping to standardize your campaign designs and accelerate the campaign creation process. The template library is visible within the Campaign section of Hum.
Creating a template in a campaign
By default, only Admins in Hum will have the permissions to create templates. (This may be customized across your organization by your Hum Admin.) You can create a template within any campaign build:
- Click “+ TOUCHPOINT”
- Click “Blank Touchpoint”.
- Set your prompt design and settings as you wish.
- Click “SAVE AS TEMPLATE”
- Give your template a unique name
Editing a template
- Access the template library from the Campaign tab within the Hum dashboard.
- Select the desired template.
- Edit the template in the prompt builder.
- Click “UPDATE TEMPLATE”
Note: If changes are made to an existing template, those changes are not reflected in any existing touchpoints built using that template. Only new touchpoints will reflect the changes made to the template.
Building a touchpoint from a template
- When you click “+ TOUCHPOINT” you’re given the option to create from a Blank Touchpoint or From a Template.
- The Template Library will open, showing a list of all the templates available. By clicking the eye icon in the Preview column you can see the details of that template.
- By clicking/highlighting the desired template, then clicking “SELECT TEMPLATE” you will proceed to the Prompt Builder based on that template design.
Touchpoints and Role Based Access Control
The default setting for User roles will only include “View Touchpoint Templates” which allows them to use those in campaign building, but not create, update or edit them. That functionality is preset for Admin users in Hum. These RBAC controls can be customized by your Hum admins.
