What is an engagement score?

 

The engagement score is a calculation of all interactions from your audience with your content. Each action is weighted and contributes to the overall score. Hum uses the engagement score to measure engagement for each audience profile, content profile, keywords, and more!

 

Let’s take a look at an example

Jane & Adam are 2 audience profiles with different levels of engagement. Jane has deep-read 3 articles and signed up for an upcoming webinar. Adam has skimmed 6 different pages of the website. Because deep reads and event signups are considered higher levels of engagement compared to skimmed pages, Jane has a higher engagement score.
