The Digest tab is being retired August 7th, 2026. Everything it showed you—summaries, methods, key concepts, taxonomy, and author contributions—you can now get on demand from the Manuscript AI Chat. This guide gives you a copy-and-paste prompt for each section.
How to use these prompts
- Open the manuscript you want to review.
- Open the AI Chat panel.
- Copy any prompt below and paste it into the chat.
- Ask follow-up questions in plain language—e.g., “Shorten that to three sentences” or “Explain the second point for a non-specialist.”
Tip: The chat remembers the conversation. You can run several of these prompts in a row on the same manuscript and keep drilling into whatever’s most relevant.
🔬 Advanced Summary
What the Digest showed: A dense, technical, expert-level summary (roughly 150–170 words) written for a specialist reader, referencing specific results, data values, methods, and named entities.
